Ann had a passion for retail and loved her time managing the gift shops, going to market to purchase inventory and forming lifelong friendships with customers and colleagues. Ann had a knack of helping shoppers find just the right gift or purchase and making them feel special. Ann had a green thumb, and her love of gardening was evident in the beautiful flowers she grew each year at her Madeira home and condo in Montgomery. She was even featured in a TV show on the DIY network featuring raised gardening beds.
Ann always took time to write handwritten notes to family and friends for special occasions, never missing a birthday or anniversary. She was a loving Mom, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and Friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Special thanks to the management and staff of Marjorie P. Lee for making a wonderful home for Ann for 12 years and taking such diligent care of her. Ann was a member of Our Lord Christ the King Catholic Parish. Her Catholic faith sustained her throughout her life.
