Hosterman, Mary Patricia (nee O'Brien) was peacefully embraced by God's loving arms on December 7, 2016 at the age of 66. Loving wife and best friend of Earl for 44 years. Nuturing mother of Earl Jr. (Courtney) and David J. (Shannon). Adoring "Nama" to Sadie, Henry, Charlie, Josephine and Juliet. Dear sister of Jane Reilly, Margaret, Hamill, Katie O'Brien, Elizabeth Van Alstine, Daniel O'Brien, Eileen O'Brien, Sheila Yerman, Robert O'Brien, Kyran O'Brien, Louise Berg. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Cheryl Hosterman. Mary graduated in 1972 from Walter Reed Army Medical Center as a registered nurse. After 22 years of service to our country, Mary retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Following her graduation, she was stationed at Denver's Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center. Rotating through many disciplines, she found her calling in pediatrics and hemodialysis. Always the perfect host, she loved to entertain and be with friends and family but nothing compared to her love of being with her grandchildren. Dearly loved by all who knew her, she will be greatly missed. Special appreciation is extended to Aunt She She and Uncle Rick who remained by her side through her tough battle with pancreatic cancer. Funeral Mass will be at St. Mary's of Littleton Catholic Church on Thursday, December 15 @10AM. Military burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 12:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or Alzheimers Foundation of America. Love You More.
