Dorothy M. Day, 87, of Elk Towers in St. Marys and formerly of Ridgway, died and entered into eternity on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.

She was born on April 1, 1931, in Buffalo, New York, a daughter of the late John and Henrietta Eckert Diebel.

She was the beloved mother of a son, Paul Day of Ridgway; a daughter, Debra Sidelinger and her husband Randolph of St. Marys; and by a granddaughter, Mandy Sidelinger. Dorothy's children were her greatest source of pride and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters in infancy, Virginia and Rose Marie Diebel.
