McDonough, William A. Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, ended his hard-fought battle against cancer on Tuesday, July 27, 2010.
Beloved husband of 40 years to Rose Marie McDonough (nee Wesseln). He is survived by his son, Darren (Lori) McDonough and daughter Dana McDonough; grandson Garrett McDonough; his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parent Bill and Rowena McDonough and sister Patricia Ehrmann.
Bill proudly served hi county in the U.S. Army military Intelligence and was a proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders and Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. Bill was an employee of Mercantile/First Bank for 25 years.
Services: A gathering to celebrate Bill’s life will be held Thursday, August 5 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Forever Oak Hill Funeral Home (Hwy 44 & Big Bend), 10301 Big Bend, Kirkwood, MO 63122. A memorial Mass will be Friday, August 6 at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine Laboure, 9740 Sappington Road, Sappington, MO 63128. No gathering at funeral home prior to the memorial mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation are requested to the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, 4095 Tarragona Dr., St. Louis, MO 63129. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
