Robert E. Hamlin Jr.64, of Bremerton died Sunday in Bremerton of a brain tumor.
He was born in Bremerton to Robert and Marguerite (Spaeth)Hamlin Sr. He graduated from Seattle Prep School in 1957 and from Olympic Colleg in 1958 He married Cecelia Wanecek in Coeur d'Alene,Idaho. Mr Hamlin worked with Prudential Insurance as a salesman and financial planner for 20 years,retiring in 1995. He had been affiliated with the Life Underwriters Training Council.
He was a member of the Elks 1181 and Holy Trininty Catholic Church, both in Bremerton. When his daughter attended high school, he participated in the Bremerton High School Dad's Club. Mr. Hamlin enjoyed bowling and golf.
Surviviors include his wife;his mother;four daughters,Christine Hamlin of Bremerton, Angela Hamlin of Marysville,Marguerite Studer of Snohomish and Geri Scott of Lake Stevens,a brother William Hamlin of Bremerton;two sisters Kathy King and Rosemary Marsh,both of Bremerton and five grandchildren,Trevor,Lindsey,Spencer,Sam and Molly.
Viewing will be at noon Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bremerton,followed by a rosary there at 12.40 p.m. After the rosary a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1.p.m;also at Holy Trinity. A graveside service will be at 3.30 p.m Thursday at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bremerton.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

He was born Oct 6, 1914, in Detroit, Mich. He graduated from high school and served in the Navy from 1934-40.

On May 10, 1938, he married Marguerite Spaeth at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Bremerton.

Mr. Hamlin was a machinist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and later worked for St. Vincent de Paul, retiring in 1977.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert, Jr and Bill, both of Bremerton; two daughters Kathy King and Rosemary Marsh, both of Bremerton; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County and St. Vincent de Paul of Bremerton.

Angela Lynn Conrad (née Hamlin), born on September 16, 1962, in Burien, Washington, the second daughter of Robert E. Hamlin Jr. and Cecelia J. Hamlin, passed away on June 11, 2025, in Shoreline, Washington, after a brief battle with cancer.

Angela lived a life marked by dedication, compassion, and unwavering love for those around her. She was one of a kind, big-hearted, fiercely protective, and deeply devoted to her family, friends, and fur babies. Her warmth and joy touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Angela enjoyed hiking and visiting National Parks with her husband, Royce. She loved cheering for the Seahawks and Mariners and never met a dog or cat she didn't want to bring home, especially her beloved dog, Tyler Lockett.

Angela devoted nearly 45 years to a career in the insurance industry, serving as a Personal Lines Underwriter, Client Associate, and most recently as a Personal Insurance Account Manager. Her commitment to her work was evident in the tireless service she provided to her clients and the deep appreciation she held for her many colleagues. Angela's professional life was not just about business; it was about building relationships and making a difference in the lives of others.

Angela is survived by her husband, Royce Conrad; her sisters Christine Hamlin, Marguerite Studer (Kevin Studer), and Geri Scott; her sister-in-law Darcelle Devereaux (David Yao); her nephews Trevor Scott (Ellyn Marder), Spencer Scott (Lauren Scott), and Samuel Studer; her nieces Lindsey Scott, Molly Studer, and Emily Devereaux-Yao (Daniel Davenport); and her great niece Parker Scott. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, mother-in-law, and father-in-law.

Angela's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her legacy of kindness and love continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

A Funeral Mass will be held on July 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 18033 15th Pl. N.E., Shoreline, WA 98155. A burial will follow at 1:00 PM at Holy Rood Catholic Cemetery, 205 NE 205th St., Shoreline, WA 98155.
