  [S318] Historical Society of St. Marys & Benzinger Township, Wegmer, Barbara (Emmert). Wegemer Mrs. Othilia Wegemer, widow of the late John Wegemer, died last Sunday afternoon at her late home on Chestnut street, after a lingering illness of six years duration. Deceased was born in Stralsbach, Bavaria, Oct. 11th, 1818, and had therefore attained the ripe old age of nearly 82 years. In 184 she emigrated to America with her husband, coming direct to St. Marys, where they have since made their home. Her husband died here about two years ago. Mrs. Wegemer is survived by four children; Apolonia, (Mrs. Daniel) and Peter of this city, and Casper and Frank, who now reside at Petoskey, Mich. The funeral was held Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock from the St. Marys church.
