Pioneer Steel Worker is Dead PITTSBURG, Nov. 19---Thomas Daniel Patterson, pioneer steel worker, died at the age of 68 years at his home, 655 East Twelth street, from heart trouble. Patterson was born at St. Mary's, Elk County, Pa., July 27, 1858, and came to California twelve years ago. He had been a resident of Pittsburg for the past nine years, a greater part of which time he was employed by the Columbia Steel corporation. He is survived by three sons, Thomas J., L. E. and Harry R. Patterson, all residents of this city. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Preston & Palmer Undertaking parlors under the auspices of Pittsburg lodge of Odd Fellows, of which he was a member.
