Flower Valley Resident Dies At Hospital Funeral Monday Morning For Alphonse Goetz. Alphonse Goetz, 41, Flower Valley resident, died at the local hospital last night at 10:30. He had been admitted to the hospital Monday and submitted to a gall bladder operation the following day. At the time of his death, Mr. Goetz was an employee of the Stackpole Carbon Co. Prior to theat he had been employed by the State Game Commission. He was born in Flower Valley June 17, 1910, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goetz, both still living. The deceased is survived by his wife, the former Mary Hasselman, and four children, Theodore, Joseph, Rita and Grace. Other survivors include four brothers and three sisters; Raymond, Clarence, Bernard and Richard, St. Marys; Clara, Mrs. William Lucas, Mentor, O.; Rose, Mrs. Michael Keller, St. Marys; Martha, at home. Mr. Goetz was preceeded in death by two brothers, George, who passed away April 29, 1936, and Alfred, May 30, 1939. Funeral mass will be held in st. Marys Church Monday morning at 9:00 o’clock, followed by interment n St. Marys cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Lynch Funeral Home after 5:00 o’clock this afternoon.
