She was 73 years young when she went to Heaven. She was born at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on February 22nd, 1945. Her parents were James Larkin Miller and Foye Kelly Miller. Karen unapologetically loved her two sisters: Barbara Jayne Bacon and Foye Kay Stender. Karen selflessly served over 20 years at Workforce Oklahoma as an Employment Specialist; where she impacted everyone who came across her desk. She served in many different capacities in her home church at Destiny Life in Claremore; most recently the Prison Outreach Ministry and she also faithfully led many prayer groups in her home over the years. Her vivacious and loving life will forever be cherished in the hearts of her surviving family: Her sister, Foye Stender of Claremore, OK, her niece and fiancé, Jessi Stender and Frank Munsey of Houston, TX, her nephew and family, Jase, Ryli, and Juliana Stender of Denver, CO, nephew Bret Bacon of Claremore, OK, nephew and family, Chad, Stacye, Bailey, Barbara, Blake, MacKenzie, Seth, & Cade Bacon of Claremore, OK, niece and son Brandy & Devin Bacon; cousins: Dicky & Shaaron Knowlton and family, Connee Ridgway and family, Kelly Knowlton and family; and her Claremore extended family, Sally Frogge, Susan Jensen, Steve, Jessica, & Brylie Fair; and her sweet mini schnauzer, Harley White. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Miller and Foye Kelly McDonough, her sister, Barbara Bacon, her brother-in-law, Joe Bill Stender, and Norman, her Terrier Mix. Mimi will be forever remembered for tearing up the "Boogie Woogie" on many occasions, her legendary cream corn, and being the biggest fan of everyone she loved. Her funeral will be held on November 1, 10 A.M., at Destiny Life – Claremore Campus with graveside burial to follow at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens.
