Grace C. Daniels, 86, of 601 Filmore Road in St. Marys died at her residence on Friday morning, November 28, 2008, following a lengthy illness.
She was born September 22, 1922 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Andrew H. and Veronica Mosemiller Cashmer.
On August 3, 1945 in Brandy Camp, she married the late George F. Daniels. He preceded her in death on January 6, 1978.
Mrs. Daniels graduated from St. Marys Area High School. She was a Member of Queen of the World Church. She retired from Stackpole Carbon Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time at camp.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly (Mrs. Paul T.) Keller of St. Marys; four sons, Robin Daniels and his wife Mary of St. Marys; Shawn Daniels and his wife Jane of St. Marys, Blain Daniels and his wife Barb of St. Marys, and Craig Daniels of St. Marys; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Russ, Danielle, Nathan, Shane, Cassie, and Julie Daniels and Mandy Keller; and one sister, Betty (Mrs. Silvio) Martini of St. Marys.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Steinbach, and one brother, Henry Cashmer.
A Mass of Christian Burial for the late Grace C. Daniels will be celebrated at the Queen of the World Church 134 Queens Road, in St. Marys on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Ferrick as celebrant.
Visitation will be at he Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Sunday, November 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
