She will also be sadly missed by her brothers; Marty and Rory, sister; Monica and extended family, relatives and friends. Tributes have been paid on RIP.ie. Those words are among many beautiful tributes offered this week in memory and appreciation of Trisha Glynn, a dearly loved member of the Warriors Run festival committee in Strandhill and a secretary at St Edward’s National School in Ballytvinan whose many special qualities endeared her to so many people of all ages. Trisha, who passed away on Monday, was also fondly remembered by many of the staff and pupils at St Edward’s National School in Sligo where she worked as school secretary for more than two decades. Meanwhile, in a post on the Warriors Run Facebook page, they shared the sad news: “It is with the greatest sadness in our hearts that we learn today of the passing of our dearest friend and long-term committee member Trisha. “Trisha was a stalwart of the committee and a true warrior in every sense of the word. She will be deeply missed by all of us as well as her family, neighbours, and friends.
